Meet our General Manager, Cory Hoffner
Cory Hoffner has been our general manager for the past five years, but has been with GMC for over seventeen! Cory lives in Bolivar with his wife and three children. If you were to ask him where a good place to grab a beer and some food is, he would recommend Lockport Brewery. He also enjoys Roosters and his favorite local pizza is Kraus’s.
Since becoming general manager, Cory has been recognized for both his knowledge and ability to explain HVAC systems to customers, as well as receiving a “Comfort Advisor of the Year” award directly from Amana (one of the top manufacturers for HVAC in the country) for his care of customers. He has also been recognized for outstanding sales performance.
Did you know:
Amana (one of the Top 10 HVAC companies in the US) started out making freezers and refrigerators, in 1934.
The first modern air conditioner was invented in 1902 by Willis Haviland Carrier
The first “window unit” air conditioner was invented in 1931 by H.H. Schultz and J.Q Sherman.
Cory is passionate about bringing people together and solving problems. He was elected as the president of the local network group, The Belden Village Professionals, which now boasts over 20 members from around the Stark County area.
In the summers, after a long day of work or on a weekend, you can catch Cory on a boat at Lake Mohawk, or on the green putting for a birdie at Wilkshire Golfcourse.
We appreciate you Cory!
Thank you for being a part of our team.
